BSH Hosts Conference On E-Business
Huntington Beach, CA BSH Home Appliances, the corporate parent of the Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau appliance brands, hosted its distributors for a recent conference on the "challenges and opportunities" of the technological revolution, the company announced.
The intensive two-day seminar in nearby Newport Beach was the first of its kind ever conducted by the company, and the first of its kind in the appliance industry, according to BSH.
The conference consisting of presentations and interactive
workshops examined the
evolution of electronic business, the integration of e-strategies into today's business models, and related legal issues, the company added.
"It is highly critical for us and our business partners to add value for our customers in cyberspace," said Michael Rockstroh, BSH senior v.p./marketing.
"It was our intent that through a process such as this we could
structure a mutual approach to
e-business," Rockstroh added. "We know that the Internet is already an integral part of the consumer's purchasing process, but there are so many more opportunities for leveraging the Internet to create efficiencies and together serve the marketplace."
