Management Seminar Series Fully Underway
The mid-May session which was conducted here and followed on the heels of a well-attended session at the recent National Kitchen & Bath Conference in Chicago drew about 75 kitchen and bath dealers from a five-state area around New Jersey, according to K&BDN and the NKBA. The seminar was underwritten in part by Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry.
A third session, scheduled for mid-June in the Detroit metro area, is being underwritten by Plain & Fancy and Aristokraft. Additional all-day "Managing for Profit" seminars are scheduled for Sept. 28 in the Atlanta area, and Oct. 26 in Costa Mesa, CA.
The "Managing for Profit" program, unique to the kitchen and bath industry, made its debut in 1999 with a pair of enthusiastically-received sessions in Boston and San Francisco. The all-day seminar - targeted primarily at the owners of kitchen and bath dealerships and remodeling firms is aimed at delivering practical, in-depth strategies for managing a dealership in a rapidly-changing and increasingly competitive kitchen and bath industry.
