Remodeling Show Slated For Las Vegas
Las Vegas RemodelAmerica, the trade show formerly owned by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and now under the auspices of the National Association of Home Builders, will make its debut in an expanded and revised format here this month.
The show, set for March 16-18 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature more than 60,000 sq. ft. of exhibition space, and will showcase a variety of products, including cabinets, appliances, plumbing products, flooring and countertop surfacing materials, RemodelAmerica sponsors observed.
Also featured will be a 40-plus seminar program, to be offered in six tracks sales and marketing, employee relations, personal and professional development, business management, field personnel and general electives.
RemodelAmerica 2000 was purchased last year by the NAHB from NARI, and is the first trade show to be co-promoted by the two associations. The NAHB said it selected Las Vegas for the site of the show in order to provide the Western region of the U.S. with a show. The Washington, DC-based NAHB sponsors another remodeling trade show in the fall, The Remodelers Show, scheduled this year for Oct. 19-21 in Detroit.
