KCMA Confab Scheduled For May in Georgia

Reston, VA The 45th Annual Convention of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) has been scheduled for four days in May at a resort in Georgia, the trade association announced.

The convention, which generally attracts several hundred kitchen cabinet manufacturers and suppliers to the cabinet manufacturing trade, will take place May 21-24 at The Cloister, in Sea Island, GA, according to the Reston, VA-based KCMA.

The four-day meeting "will provide a unique opportunity for cabinet manufacturing executives from large and small companies, as well as countertop and other laminate fabricators, and key industry suppliers to meet and exchange ideas," the KCMA said.

The meeting will be opened by keynote speaker David Pearce Snyder, a nationally known strategic forecaster and futurist, who will discuss short- and long-term trends in consumer buying patterns and their impact on cabinet sales. The program will also include additional seminars, committee meetings and a series of social events, the KCMA noted.
