Business Seminar Called 'Huge Success'

Natick, MA The first in a planned series of all-day "Managing for Profit" business management seminars, sponsored by Kitchen & Bath Design News and the NKBA, has been termed a "huge success" by organizers of the event.

The Sept. 27 session, underwritten by corporate partners Kohler Co. and Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, resulted in a sell-out attendance, drawing more than 60 kitchen and bath dealers, designers and remodelers for a hard-hitting, interactive session led by well-known business management instructors Stephen Vlachos, CKD, CBD, and Hank Darlington.

"We were very pleased at the response to this program from the kitchen and bath dealer/ designer community, and look forward to continuing to deliver the kind of information we feel kitchen specialists most need," said K&BDN editorial director/publisher Eliot Sefrin.

The next all-day "Managing for Profit" seminar will take place Oct. 21 in San Francisco. That session is being underwritten by corporate partners DACOR and DeWils Industries.
Four sessions are being scheduled for next year in key U.S. markets, including at least one in conjunction with April's Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) in Chicago.
