PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The goal was to fashion a single-family custom residence in a golf community. This included a luxury home, indoor/outdoor environments and landscaping to complete a program requiring four bedroom suites, theater, office, wet bar and plenty of outdoor living space. The focus remained on capturing views of the mountains surrounding the home. Challenges included the pie-shaped lot, which has a million-dollar view located at the tapered end of the pie. Secondary challenges included maintaining privacy and working on a small lot. The house was angled and the rooms turned, which opens the home up to the north, introducing beautiful light. By gently depressing the garage on the low end of the frontage road and housing a unique guest wing above the garage, the space boasts up-close views of the foothills.
