PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This home sits on the 18th green of a new country club. The target buyer would be a retired couple with interest in entertaining others and enjoying life outside watching golfers finish and head into the club house. Challenge No. 1 was to create a design that sprawled out across the lot, making the home large and stately, but within a 24-ft. height restriction. Challenge two was to create plenty of retirement-friendly outdoor living spaces. In the center of the home, a covered deck with bifolding doors open 27 ft. of wall with ceiling-mounted radiant heaters for winter usage. This space also has a remote-controlled screen to enclose the space from bugs.
