PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The goal was to expand the living and entertaining square footage by creating extensive indoor/outdoor living spaces, and to make these spaces relaxing and serene by using neutral colors, an audio system, water feature and comfortable indoor/outdoor furniture. Additionally, the clients desired a flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The home’s lanai, pool deck with summer kitchen and three balconies connect to the interiors via floor-to-ceiling, Low-E, movable glass panels. Using a simple palette and consistent materials, these areas seamlessly blend together. Retractable, motorized screens, which protect the areas from insects and solar glare, are built into the lanai. A retractable projector and screen in the family room provide media entertainment for the indoor/outdoor family room.
