Home of aesthetic, moral peace

This home is naturally lit through north-facing clerestory windows flooding the spaces with ambient light. Interiors illuminated with benign, northern light are made of warm bamboo cabinetry and bamboo floors, with supplemental LED lighting. An exposed, prefabricated structure of galvanized steel supports the house and secures solar arrays against inevitable hurricane uplift in this hurricane-prone environment. Zero-maintenance, galvanized steel skin withstands corrosive Gulf Coast atmospheres. Testament to the fact this house succeeds beyond technical, psychological, and spiritual limits, the owners clearly profess: “The best part of our day is coming home to the light and tranquility of this hard-working house. We will forever be grateful for the aesthetic and the moral peace of mind we constantly find here.”
