Broan has released its QSE and APE Energy Star-qualified range hoods, which feature energy-efficient motors and CFLs, ensuring the hoods conserve 34 to 42 percent more energy. The APE Series includes a 9-inch Pro-style hood height for maximum capture and variable speed controls. The series boasts 440 cfm at maximum speed and 0.7 sones at normal speed (200 cfm). The QSE Series features 210-cfm maximum speed and 1.5 sones at normal speed (110 cfm), as well as vertical or horizontal discharge.
