Cambria's Torquay countertop is from the company's Waterstone Collection of quartz surfaces. The natural quartz countertop is nonporous and stain resistant, with its nonabsorbent nature protecting against stains and germs, according to the firm.

Its nonabsorbent nature protects against more than just stains – it’s also extremely hygienic. The surfaces are offered in a palette of vibrant colors with striking movement.

Two new quartz designs, Armitage and Laneshaw, have been introduced by Cambria for 2012. Building upon the design palette of the Waterstone Collection, the two designs combine the natural veining of marble and granite with the strength of quartz. Armitage (shown) features a dark, neutral blend of black and gray, while Laneshaw offers a tan and black canvas with hints of white and a veil of gold shimmer.

The look of the Waterstone Collection of quartz from Cambria was influenced by the natural movement of water over stone. Ranging from neutral to vibrant tones that are reminiscent of granite and marble, each color is named for a location in Wales and England, which are the inspiration for the spectrum of Cambria colors. Shirebrook, shown, is one of 12 new colors from the company.
