Formica Group is celebrating 100 years of manufacturing by introducing the 2013 Anniversary Collection, which features 12 new laminates with patterns that reflect the company's brand and history. Innovative printing techniques allow independent layers of pattern to randomly interact during the course of printing, with patterns repeating only every 500 to 700 sheets. Shown is Red Ellipse, a strong red that is the signature color of the Formica Group.
For 2013 Formica Corporation features 33 on-trend Formica-brand laminate patterns, including woodgrains, graphics and brights. The collection includes 10 new classics and four patterns in Woodgrain, including ash, legno, teak and walnut, as well as a ribbonwood pattern; nine new graphics, optical solids and chameleons; and 10 solid color optimistic brights, mid-tone chromas and complex neutrals.

The 180fx series from Formica Corp. includes a range of designs that feature detailed color variations of natural stone slabs and petrified wood in 5’ spans. The laminates are created through the use of advanced printing technology combined with premium finishes. Shown is Calacatta Marble with the E-250 sink from Karran USA.
Formica Corp. introduces five new full-scale 180fx patterns that feature the premium Etchings finish (with a softly polished finish etched and dappled with highlights from tiny fissures) or Radiance finish, a high-gloss finish that has holographic facets that refract and reflect light. The Travertine Gold in Etchings finish, shown, is reminiscent of vein-cut travertine, with alternating layers of cream and caramel with gray details.
Formica Corp. introduces five new full-scale 180fx patterns that feature the premium Etchings finish (with a softly polished finish etched and dappled with highlights from tiny fissures) or Radiance finish, a high-gloss finish that has holographic facets that refract and reflect light. The Bianca Luna in Etchings finish, shown, is modeled after White Quartzite, with a mix of large and small white particulates punctuated with gray veining.
Formica Corp. has added five new patterns for 2012 to its 180fx Collection of laminate countertop designs. The lighter, more neutral patterns are offered in the softly polished Etchings finish or high-gloss Radiance finish that reflects light. Shown is the Dolce Vita in Etchings finish, a reflection of Italian granite with shades of off-white, gray and charcoal blended with a hint of rose and dusky violet.
The expansion of the 180fx series of laminate countertops by Formica Corp. adds seven distinctive natural stone slab and petrified wood options to the line. Created with an advanced printing technology that is combined with premium finishes including including Honed and Etchings, the line now includes Petrified Wood, shown.
Solid Surfacing by Formica Group features APC-78 resin, which blends features and benefits of acrylic and polyester to create durable and formable solid surfacing materials. It’s intended for interior applications where a decorative; durable; and germ-, heat- and stain-resistant surface is required.
