Marvin Windows and Doors adds Factory Stain and Clear Interior Finishes to the existing option for factory-applied painted interior finish. The multi-step process for both the stain and clear finish are completed before the windows or doors is assembled. The waterborne acrylic enamel used on the products is environmentally friendly. The six stain options to choose from are honey, wheat, hazelnut, cabernet, espresso and leather. The stain and clear finishes are available on pine, white oak, cherry, Douglas fir, cedro macho, mahogany and vertical grain Douglas fir.

Square Sticking

Marvin windows and doors now include the Square Sticking Interior Profile option. Intended to help achieve the architectural style in contemporary and Arts & Craft design, the square profiling provides a clean, squared-off transition. Square sticking is available on nearly all company products, including simulated divided lite bars.

Apex siding system

The Apex Siding System is pultruded-fiberglass siding and trim with Ultrex, designed to be tougher than fiber cement, but exude the beauty of natural wood. It also has been designed to withstand extreme conditions. The siding features an expected life of 50 years or more, and is available in ten rich and enduring colors, in 4- and 7-in. widths, and in either a smooth or wood grain finish. It resists chipping, splintering, fading and warping.

It’s available across a wide range of and includes a factory-painted white interior finish option.

Performance Sill

Unlike a traditional recessed sill, which must be embedded in concrete, the Performance Sill can be installed using a wood subfloor, making the door more adaptable for second-floor installations. The Performance Sill also delivers structural stability and incorporates thermal breaks.

Window Opening Control Device

Marvin Windows and Doors now offers a factory-installed Window Opening Control Device on its Ultimate Casement line of crank-out windows to meet the ASTM F2090-10 fall-protection standard. It limits the window opening to 4 in. unless overridden in a two-step process. The limiter re-sets automatically each time the window is closed. The device already is offered (field-applied) on its double-hung products, but is now expanding to casements.

Pocketing doors

Available in sizes up to 60-ft. wide, Marvin’s doors are available in pocket door panels that slide into the wall, completely disappearing from view, and stacked panels that slide and stack perfectly within the doorframe.
