LED System

Product From Solatube International

Solatube International Inc. has launched the Solatube Smart LED System, which saves up to 94 percent on lighting energy use. It harnesses the sun’s daylight and as light levels dim, its sensors activate LED lighting. The system has an optional occupancy sensor that activates the LEDs only when a low-light area is occupied. It can be turned on or off when connected to a wall switch. An optional daylight dimmer allows users to adjust light levels.

Solatube Tubular Skylights

Product From Solatube International

Solatube tubular skylights, or tubular daylighting devices (TDDs), provide as much light as skylights many times their size, the maker says, and require no structural reframing, tunneling, drywalling or painting. The compact and flexible design of TDDs allow them to be installed in just about any room, including rooms without direct roof access and smaller spaces where daylighting would usually not be an option. TDDs allow homeowners to switch off electric lights during the day, which provides savings on energy bills and also reduces environmental pollution.
