Shower Glass

Bendheim has collaborated with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and OmniDecor of Italy to create a collection of shower glasses. Merletto (shown) is a dual-sided pattern inspired by nature. It is permanently etched on ultra-clear (low-iron) glass, creating a dimensional, smooth surface that is resistant to dirt and stains.

Restoration Glass

To replace broken or damaged antique glass, Bendheim now offers its Restoration Glass, which is made with the same techniques and tools used to make mouth-blown glass centuries ago. The glass contains more than 70 percent recycled material and is available in two varieties: Full, which is more distorting and has an approximate sheet size of 24 by 36 inches and a thickness of about 1/8 inch, and Light, which is less distorting and has an approximate sheet size of 34 by 38 inches with a thickness of about 3/32 inch.

Cabinet Glass Collection

Bendheim’s Cabinet Glass Collection offers a selection of exclusive mouth-blown sheet glasses crafted by the skilled glass masters at Germany’s Glashutte Lamberts. Characteristic features include the mild waviness and occasional air bubbles that are seen in original antique window glass. Decorative options include clear, colored, seedy, crackle and opal.

Architect I Series Shower Enclosure

The Architect Series I Collection from Bendheim is a line of glasses created for installation in partition walls and shower enclosures, among other uses. The four etched pattern glasses offer varying levels of obscuration, with intricate designs featured on both sides of the glass. Produced on ultra-clear low-iron float glass, the collection is available in custom colors and three thicknesses.

Bendheim has introduced its line of mouth-blown glasses designed to replace broken or damaged antique glass in windows, doors, sidelites and cabinets. The products are crafted by Germany’s Glashütte Lamberts facility, using centuries-old production techniques. Features include the mild waviness and occasional air bubble inherent in original antique window glass. Customers can select from clear, colored, crackle (alligator skin appearance), seedy and opal (a slightly obscuring glass) options.

Italian Etched Cabinet Glass Inserts

Bendheim has released its Italian etched cabinet glass inserts that are acid-etched to produce a satin-like, smooth surface. The acid-etched glass is resistant to dirt and stains while being a consistent and maintenance-friendly surface.
