Amarr Garage Doors has introduced new recessed and raised panel carriage house designs for its Oak Summit Collection of carriage house garage doors. Traditional bead board plus the new recessed and raised panels are available. To complement the designs Amarr also has introduced two new window inserts: the four-lite Thames and the four-lite Arched Thames.

In addition to adding four new stamped-steel carriage house designs to the Classica Collection, Amarr has now added the first color to the line. The collection can now be ordered in Sandtone. White is the standard color for the collection, but the doors can be painted with any high-quality exterior latex paint.

The new carriage house doors by Amarr will incorporate the look and feel of Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. All the designs (shown is the Chateau style) were inspired by actual carriage house and entryway doors. The doors will be built with Western Red Cedar as the base, with a Western Red Cedar overlay. The base will then be screwed to a 2" commercial steel frame to add extra durability and superior quality.

Amarr is taking the Classica garage door a step further by offering all models with 1-7/8-in. polyurethane insulation and a durable interior steel skin. The new model is built with a 25-gauge exterior steel skin, a 27-gauge interior skin, and polyurethane insulation. This construction gives the door an R-value of 13.35, one of the highest energy values for garage doors.

The Bob Timberlake™ collection of garage doors from Amarr is constructed of commercial steel with factory installed polystyrene insulation that provides an extra thermal barrier against inclement weather. Exterior surfaces utilize Western Red Cedar. Doors are shipped with their natural wood finish allowing for customization of paint and stain. Clear grade wood for staining is available in special order.
