With its modular design and tool-less base changes, Festool’s MFK 700 trim router can transform from a vertical to a horizontal position with a few simple steps. The tool can trim laminate and edge band or rout grooves for inlays and can use bearing-less bits when used with the attachable base feeler bearing. Fine depth adjustments (1/256 in.) and dust extraction suit the router for light routing tasks.
Festool has equipped its CT 36 vacuum with a tool-triggered auto-start function so when a tool is plugged into the supplied outlet socket, the vacuum cycles with the tool. This represents greater efficiency in dust extraction, reduces noise and consumes less energy. Variable suction force allows a user to regulate the suction based on tasks. A low-profile, flat-top design allows the vacuum to double as a tool rest, and an integrated hose garage and docking station eases the connection of Festool Systainers (not included).
Festool's OF 1400 router provides 1400 watts of power in a machine that weighs less than 10 lbs. It accepts ½ in., ¼ in. or 8 mm bits. It has enough power to handle most routing tasks and is small enough to be extremely maneuverable, the manufacturer says. It has a 2-¾-in. plunge depth, precise to 1/256 in. (1/10 mm).
Festool introduces a parallel guide and extension set that attaches to any Festool guide rail and enables users to make consistent, repeatable cuts for use in the construction of shelves, case sides, cabinet parts, trim boards, fillers and long rip cuts. The set eliminates the need to measure and mark individual boards and breaks down for easy transport and storage.
The very compact, remarkably light C12 offers all the power, control, torque, and features you need for demanding jobs. It's the lightest 12v on the market and the first cordless drill with a brushless motor. Lift a pound less each time you drill or drive without sacrificing any power. That's 200 fewer pounds in a typical day. As for longevity, the C12 will drive up to one million screws before it needs to be replaced.
