Metabo’s BS18 LTX Quick drill/driver has a dual-range torque adjustment with a maximum running torque of 372 in.-lbs. and up to 850 in.-lbs. for momentary spikes in the event of extreme resistance. The cordless drill/driver offers a no-load speed of 0-400 rpm in first gear and 0-1,400 rpm in second gear. When paired with the Power X3, the torque is tripled and the speed is reduced to 0-133 rpm for maximum control and power.

Metabo Corp. has made available its cordless jig saw—STA 18 LTX—as part of its PowerMasterSeries of 18-volt lithium-ion cordless power tools. The saw, which can cut more than 98 feet of chipboard with one battery-pack charge, is designed to cut openings for heating duct and plumbing, cabinet and drywall fitting, as well as size plywood. The low-lying saw blade support roller provides blade guidance, and a four-stage adjustable orbital blade stroke and positive bevel cutting stops at 15, 30 and 45 degrees.
