Air Vent’s ShingleVent II ridge vent installs on the peak of the roof allowing exhaust ventilation all along the roofline. Design features include an external baffle and internal weather filter for optimum airflow. Less than an inch in height, this molded, high-impact copolymer shingle-over ridge vent permits capping of the ridge with shingles like the rest of the roof. The external baffle creates low pressure over the vent openings to pull air from the attic.
Hip Ridge Vent, a Shingle-Over Hip Vent
Product From Air Vent Inc.Air Vent's Hip Ridge Vent is a Shingle-over ridge vent for hip roofs. This exhaust vent is for diagonal hip roofs and provides 12 square inches of NFA per linear foot. The Hip Ridge has an intergrated gasket for defense against water infiltration, external wind baffle and internal weather filter. Fits 3/12 or greater hip ridge pitches and has an uni-directional construction for easy installation.
Air Vent's ShinglVent II-7A & 9 A products are Class A fire rated for Class A roof decks in accordance with UL classified standards and ICC approval. ShingleVent II is available in 7" and 9" width and contains a fire retardant additive that will not compromise any of the original product's benefits and is able to withstand temperatures in excess of 1400 degrees Fahrenheit without igniting. This product has an external baffle and a weather filter for 3/12 to 12/12 roof pitches. The NFA is 16 square inches per linear foot.
The SolarCool solar powered attic vent from Air Vent features an adjustable solar panel that is mounted on a bracket directly onto the vent dome. The panel is wind, hail and impace resistant. The bracket is adjustable so that the panel can be tilted up or rotated to the south or west for maximum sun exposure. This energy powers a high-efficiency, 24-volt DC motor inside the attic to provide non-stop ventilation. The SolarCool requires no wiring or electrical hookup.
