PVC Moulding Profiles

Versatex Trimboard has introduced two moulding profiles made from weather-resistant cellular PVC. The 8-in. crown moulding and a water-table profile are compatible with the existing field of the company’s exterior trim system. The 8-in. profile is 25 percent wider than the previous crown moulding options. The water table is an updated, maintenance-free version of a traditional moulding profile used to deflect rainfall and prevent seepage behind trim and siding.

Tongue-and-groove Profile

Versatex Trimboard’s WP4 PVC tongue-and-groove profile features a V-groove center match, the 3/4- by 5 7/16-in. profile meets the needs of builders and architects seeking a durable, workable replacement for the conventional pine WP4. The WP4’s versatility has made it the traditional solution for wainscoting, soffits and porch ceilings. Applications include interior and exterior paneling, fencing, porch skirting, hot tub enclosures and shed doors. WP4 is sold in 18-ft. lengths. Installation requires ordinary carpentry skills, tools and fasteners. It is impervious to moisture and insect damage.

Architectural soffit system

Versatex Trimboard has developed a complete low-maintenance, high architectural-appeal soffit system, coupled with notched fascia and frieze boards. The soffit is available in 12-in. and 16-in. widths and lengths of 18-ft. to reduce joints. The vented soffit has a series of 1/8-in. wide grooves, specially designed to minimize insect infiltration. The venting pattern features 10 square inches of free airspace per lineal foot, making it one of the most effective air flow systems in the market today.

PVC Mouldings Profiles

Versatex has added six classic profiles to its line of weather-resistant cellular PVC mouldings. Three window trim profiles include window sill 1 1/4- by 4 3/4-inch, sill nose 1 5/16- by 1 3/8-inch and heavy sill nose 1 3/4- by 2 3/8-inches. All three are 16-feet long. Garage-door stops are 2- by 3/8-inches in 16-foot lengths. Beadboard cap is 1 1/8- by 15/32-inch in 16-foot lengths. J-channel brickmould is 1 1/4- by 3-inches in 18-foot lengths.

The beadboard cap, which is an accessory for the company’s tongue-and-groove profiles is in 16-foot lengths. The J-channel brickmould is 18-feet long. The six additions bring the total line’s offering to 26 profiles.

Versawrap Column System

Versatex Trimboard has expanded its Versawrap column system with an 8- by 8-inch by 10-foot column wrap and architectural trim accessories. The wrap is a one-piece, pre-cut column cladding system that features a friction-fit closing system to create a secure enclosure around rough-sawn wood posts. Versawrap moulding kits and caps coordinate with 4- by 4-inch, 6- by 6-inch and 8- by 8-inch Versawrap installations. Belmont Caps are a new addition to the line.

VERSAWRAP

VERSATEX Trimboard has released VERSAWRAP, a one-piece cladding system for pressure-treated columns. VERSAWRAP eliminates the need for field cutting and mitering. Made of a matte-finished, high-quality PVC, VERSAWRAP is available to fit 4- by 4-inch and 6- by 6-inch posts.

Stealth board

Versatex PVC Stealth Skirt Board is a multi-purpose frieze board and starter strip engineered to help all types of sidings meet ground and masonry contact code requirements. The new 5/4-in. thick plank features an angled top ridge for the first course of fiber cement or composite siding to rest upon. This tapered edge also allows water to run off. Its PVC nature allows it to directly contact ground or masonry with no ill effects.

Versatex Fill n Fasten

Versatex Fill n’ Fasten is a double-duty structural adhesive that is capable of withstanding significant loads. The adhesion achieved is typically two to three times stronger than the substrates that are being bonded. It is environmentally stable outdoors, can be used in a wet environment and has the ability to fill gaps up to 3/8-in. without sagging.

Stealth BeadBoard

Versatex's low-maintenance PVC Stealth Bead Board has an extended nailing flange to allow for a true hidden fastening system for porch ceilings and high, hard-to-reach soffit areas. The new plank is a tongue and groove design with a kicker. Instead of having to nail through a small tongue as in traditional beaded T&G products, the installer now has a wider 1/2 in. surface to nail through.
