BASF’s PermaLath 1000 glass fiber lath has gained IBC and IRC code recognition, the manufacturer reports. Each roll can cover 487.5 sq. ft., yet weighs only 31 lbs., replacing 27 pieces of 2.5 lath or 3.4 lath weighing 135 or 184 pounds respectively. It cuts easily with scissors or a utility knife and does not have the jagged edges of metal lath.

Green Sense Concrete

Product From BASF

BASF has released its Green Sense Concrete, an environmentally friendly, cost-effective concrete that features quick truck discharge and setting time, slump retention and strength performance. No water is needed at a jobsite to create the highly flowable slump concrete. The mix has less cement, which means less carbon dioxide is created, less energy is used per unit of concrete produced and less byproduct materials are targeted for landfill.

Neopor EPS

Product From BASF

BASF’s Neopor EPS contains graphite particles that reflect and absorb radiant heat and significantly improve insulation capacity. As a result, less product achieves the same insulating effect and consumes fewer resources. Thinner panels also mean lower transportation and handling costs. Using the same board thickness as conventional EPS, Neopor can achieve up to a 20 percent higher R-value.

Genovations Decking

Product From BASF

BASF Styrenics and Genova Products collaborated on Genovations Decking offering a stain, color-fade resistance, low-gloass/glare surface finish and rich wood grain embossment. The end result is a plank with an authentic wood appearance.
