Masonry Technology Inc.’s Moisture Diverter stops moisture and diverts it away from wall details and openings, such as windows. The diverter is 4-feet long, 2 1/2-inches wide and is made of 24-gauge galvanized steel. It is bent into a V-shape with a 65-degree angle. For installation, the diverter should be positioned above the opening without touching it; it must extend at least 4 inches past the window mounting flange or window trim boards.
