The collection comes in standard finishes of nickel or bronze, as well as offers Colorful Personalities, a custom service, to produce hardware in any color of the rainbow with the option to update the color of the hardware at a later date for a fee. The company also offers custom solutions to accommodate specific needs or wants of customers, like custom engravings or creating security hardware to specific specifications. The entry sets, backplates and trim sets are made of solid brass.

The Longleaf Collection is a deadbolt entry and mortise set that has been designed by North Carolina artist Bob Timberlake, available through Longleaf Collection’s Colorful Personalities service. The manufacturer is able to add any color to its brass hardware in either a smooth, glossy finish or the Starlight metallic finish. The finish is durable and made to last a lifetime. If a homeowner or designer wants a different color in the future, however, the hardware can be sent back to the factory for refinishing for a nominal fee.
