A seasoned magazine publishing veteran of 30 years, Anita Shaw has spent 11 years with Kitchen & Bath Design News, beginning as a contributing editor and joining the staff full time in 2005. As managing editor of KBDN, she immerses herself in upscale kitchen and bath design, following hot trends and discovering recently introduced products. Anita also renovated her home three years ago to better suit her changing family - which includes her husband, young daughter and aging mom - so she knows first-hand the joys and pain associated with remodeling. While she loves her updated home, she still finds plaster dust in hidden corners, and is convinced the job will never really be completed.
