A six-year editor, contributor and globetrotter for Kitchen & Bath Design News, Andrea Girolamo is now the editor of ForResidentialPros.com. During her tenure working for KBDN, Andrea spearheaded the magazine's sustainable design coverage, from work on an annual green supplement, to 2010's "Profiting from the Green Trend: Designing and Selling Sustainability" webcast.
A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, Andrea has had the opportunity to explore many sides of construction and design, traveling the country (and the world) meeting folks around the residential design and building industry to learn what information they considered critical and how they most wanted it delivered to them. From flushing test toilets in Germany, to riding a Caterpillar in a sustainable forest in Brazil, to sitting in on a roundtable on the state of the economy in Indiana, she's been there, and done that.
