Kenneth W. Betz, executive editor, is a graduate of Drake University School of Journalism. He worked as a daily newspaper reporter covering the city-hall beat, edited a trade-association publication for building engineers, and wrote and edited Qualified Remodeler and its sister publications, one dedicated to commercial renovation and the other to kitchen and bath design, under its founding publisher. Subsequently, he worked for two major B2B publishers, editing a publication devoted to energy management in commercial and institutional buildings. He returned to Qualified Remodeler 2008.
