EPA Invites Locals to Comment on Burdensome Rules

(ATLANTA - Mar. 8, 2011) — On Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Atlanta, Ga., the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will host a public listening session for citizens to provide input on EPA’s retrospective review of regulations as part of the agency’s response to President Obama’s January 18, 2011 Executive Order (EO) 13563, “Improving Regulation and Regulatory Review.” (Direction for each federal agency to consider how best to promote retrospective analysis of rules that may be outmoded, ineffective, insufficient, or excessively burdensome).
TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
