PARKERSBURG, W. VA. – Simonton Windows®, a leading supplier of top-quality vinyl windows and patio doors, has named Pete Placido to fill the newly-created position of Vice President Sales & Marketing – West Region. He will be based in Simonton’s Vacaville, Calif. office and have responsibility for all sales and marketing activities affecting the West Region.
Placido will supervise several marketing management personnel plus six Simonton district sales managers. He joins Simonton after holding various industry positions in sales and marketing at Lumicor®, Milgard Windows and Doors®, The Stanley Works and General Electric.

Placido holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
