Whirlpool Corp. Names Winner of its “Exploration of a Lifetime” Contest
Whirlpool Corp. recently announced the winner of its “Exploration of a Lifetime” contest. The winner was selected from more than 500 entries collected during the 2008 International Builders’ Show.
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Whirlpool Corp. recently announced the winner of its “Exploration of a Lifetime” contest. The winner was selected from more than 500 entries collected during the 2008 International Builders’ Show.
The winner, Mike English of Mike English Construction, Inc., Riverview, Florida, won an all-inclusive trip for two to one of several exciting destinations throughout the world, including China, Egypt, South Africa, San Francisco, the Galapagos Islands and the wine-producing regions of Italy.
According to Tom Halford, general manager of contract sales and marketing at Whirlpool Corporation, the contest was an opportunity for the building community to explore Whirlpool Corporation and get a better understanding of its brands’ personalities and the type of lifestyle each brand appeals to the most. “We would like to thank everyone who stopped by the booth during IBS. This contest was an excellent opportunity to learn about Whirlpool Corporation, in particular, The Inside Advantage and its invaluable offerings to building professionals, while giving them a chance to win an unparalleled trip to one of the most beautiful places in the world.
