Residential Architects Find Support at Symposium

Residential architects often find frustration in the architecture world and struggle getting support in the residential sector. For those unfamiliar, the American Institute of Architects has a Knowledge Community dedicated strictly to residential architects and designers: Custom Residential Architects Network. In addition, this community is holding its annual symposium next week.

During the symposium, residential architects are offered many opportunities to network with each other, attend education sessions and a home tour. The home tour is different this year and includes case studies of homes - contemporary homes in a historic neighborhood. Attendees can learn how contemporary homes were successfully built in a historic neighborhood outside Indianapolis.

For more information on the symposium and CRAN, read the article from the September issue. Registration is $225 for AIA members, and $300 for nonmembers.
