Residential architects looking for education and networking opportunities can join the Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN), a Knowledge Community of The American Institute of Architects, as it holds its 5th annual symposium on Sept 7-9, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the waterfront in downtown Newport, Rhode Island. Titled “Elevating the Art of Residential Design & Practice,” the three-day symposium, open to all AIA and non-AIA members, will bring together custom residential architects from across the country to learn, share, and discuss relevant topics in the field of residential architecture. AIA Continuing Education credits will be offered.
