Los Angeles — Bradco Kitchens + Baths, a Los Angeles-based kitchen and bath design firm, has formed a partnership with culinary retail store Sur La Table, the companies announced.
Bradco was chosen to provide custom-made cabinets in all new professional teaching kitchens located in Sur La Table stores opening in 2012, as well as the remodel of the kitchen in the retail outlet at Los Angeles’ Farmer's Market.
Since its inception in 1972, Seattle-based Sur La Table has become the retail destination for those with a passion for cooking and a love for food. An exciting, interactive place to celebrate cooking, Sur La Table sought to have its professional teaching kitchens showcase the same unique, quality craftsmanship as the culinary tools they sell and chose the experts at Bradco Kitchens + Baths to accomplish this goal.
“Like great cooking, our store design is all about hand-finished details. From custom made rolling pin door handles to finials, our signature storefront is one of a kind with its own special touch, just like the mark of a good chef,” said Doralece Dullaghan, director of strategic partnerships for Seattle-based Sur La Table. “We knew Bradco Kitchens + Baths would create the beautiful, inviting, custom look that would complement our storefront.”
“Our partnership proves that good taste isn’t just a matter of food, but also a matter of fine design,” observed Michael Kienzl, president of Bradco Kitchens + Baths. “We’re looking forward to creating beautiful professional teaching kitchens to enhance the aesthetic experience of the cooking classes at Sur La Table.”
