Watermark Designs, the Brooklyn-based manufacturer of decorative fixtures and bath accessories, is continuing its charitable efforts toward the victims of Hurricane Sandy in Brooklyn. Since November 15, 2012 and continuing for six months, Watermark Designs is donating 5% of sales of its own Brooklyn faucet collection to the Brooklyn Community Foundation organization.
"Like every other family and business in the Brooklyn area, we were affected by Sandy," says Avi Abel, general manager of Watermark Designs and a lifelong Brooklyn resident. "Our factory was closed for several days and our employees were also affected."
"Being from Brooklyn myself, I feel rooted in Brooklyn's culture and seeing the effects of this storm, I felt compelled to heed the efforts and assist others," offers Jody Rosenberg, president, sales and marketing.
