CHICAGO—NeoCon organizers announced the four keynote speakers for their June 10 to 12 show, which will take place at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. These keynote programs are free to attend for trade professionals. The 2013 conference schedule also includes nearly 100 CEU-accredited seminars and industry association forums, giving the opportunity for attendees to discover new trends and techniques from some of the top names in the industry.
The line-up for speakers is:
- Bjarke Ingels, founder of BIG (Bjarke Ingles Group)- he has developed a reputation for designing buildings that are as programmatically and technically innovative as they are cost and resource conscious, for which he has won numerous awards and honors.
- Michael Vanderbyl, principal of Vanderbyl Design- his work has evolved and gained prominence with expertise in identity, print and digital communications, interiors, showrooms, retail spaces, signage, textiles, fashion apparel, packaging, furniture and product design.
- Holly Hunt, president & CEO of Holly Hunt- she runs her design-centric business of showrooms and products for interior designers by being intimately involved in the design and creative work, which has helped her company become the premier design and distribution entity for high end furnishings in the country.
- Lauren Rottet, founder of Rottet Studio- she is cited for her expertise in advancing office design to reflect a current approach based on technology, contemporary methods of working and bringing a more hospitality approach to the office.
