Televised Design Competition Series Selects Silestone by Cosentino

NEW YORK, N.Y.—The home design competition series American Dream Builders has selected Silestone by Cosentino as the featured quartz-surfacing product for the show. The one-hour show began Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 8/7c.

Hosted by renowned designer Nate Berkus, American Dream Builders will showcase 12 contestants, who are designers and homebuilders. Each episode, two teams will be expected to transform the space from the inside out in a matter of days through undertaking a major redesign or renovation project. The last two contestants will lead renovations on an entire home, bringing their unique vision to life.

“Both Silestone and American Dream Builders believe that outstanding design results are produced by relying on high standards of quality and innovation. Only through the vision of talented designers and homebuilders have Silestone’s design and technical capabilities been fully realized. We are honored to be exclusively selected for a show that celebrates the imaginative forces behind exceptional home design,” said Lorenzo Marquez, vice president of marketing for Cosentino North America.

Contestants will have Silestone’s full range of more than 70 colors at their disposal for design incorporation throughout the competition, offering a number of decorative possibilities and serving as a surface option for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding.
