Suited for residential or commercial spaces, this resilient flooring option features a rich brown, engineered hardwood material, promising to add warmth and a natural finish to any area, large or small. With an oil finish, Craftwood has a thickness of 9/16 in., a width of 5 in., a micro bevel edge style, and ranks at 1360 in the Janka Hardness Scale. The shade variance on this product is low to medium, and the color change when exposed to light over time is low.

Old Wood from Devon and Devon is a “noble” collection of reclaimed wood flooring obtained by remilling oak beams salvaged from the restructuring of vintage homes. “Old Wood” beams preserve all the appeal of a material aged by time such as color variations, cracks, knots and nail holes, details that imbue the floor with a unique, natural character. The collection proposes five different designs: French herringbone, Italian herringbone, Chantilly, Versailles and the traditional multi-layer plank.

The wood beams are decay and insect resistant, as well as resistant to shrinking, twisting and bowing. Treated to the core with Wolmanized preservative protection, the wood does not need field treatment when cut or drilled. The beams, capable of being painted or stained on site, are available in eight sizes including long lengths.

The tongue-and-groove flooring is modified through TruLast Technology, which makes the wood more dimensionally stable than unmodified wood and resists moisture-induced changes. Several profiles are available: 3/4- by 3 1/8-in. finished face in 8-, 10- and 12-ft. lengths and 7/8- by 3 1/8-in. finished face in 8-, 10- and 12-ft. lengths. Select markets have available 7/8- by 4 7/8-in. finished face in 8- and 10-ft. lengths.

A stair nose, T-mold, reducer and baby threshold, as well as custom pieces like stair treads, risers and crown mouldings, also are available.

Carlisle Wide Plank Floors has unveiled its Watermill texture for wood flooring, a process that replicates the look of older floors whose boards were originally rough sawn through riverside watermills. Original saw marks are left on the timber to achieve this look. Planks are individually brushed to soften the texture and create a worn look.
