First United Door Technologies introduced the Laredo, an all-steel, overhead sectional garage door to its SteelPanel product line. The 25-gauge steel-face skin and 25-gauge steel backing deliver a sandwich door rugged enough to please builders, but still offer clean lines to gratify homeowners. The all-steel backing replaces the vinyl typically used on the inside of garage doors. Another benefit is the increased insulation properties. The sandwich door increase the R-value to 9+, compared to an average R-value of 6 for vinyl backed doors.

Featuring a tubular aluminum track and ball bearing rollers, the track accommodates 1- to 3/8-in. single and double doors weighing up to 300 pounds. The system fits openings of 48-, 60-, 72- or 96-in. and can be trimmed to fit smaller openings. The system includes an I-beam track, adjustable rollers, brackets, track stops, door guides and assembly tools.
