Featuring a Hurricane Frame, the doors are constructed to endure winds up to 140 mph. The strength of the Hurricane Frame stems from its full-length, solid Douglas Fir frame captured with Superply plywood on both sides, creating a strong box construction that offsets tension and compression and boasts natural rigidity. -

The vertical shadow line grooves of 7420 Cabriolet doors preserve the look of swinging doors. Framing is made of solid (no joined pieces) kiln-dried hemlock. Mortise and tenon door sections are glued and steel-pinned. An optional cedar upgrade may be specified for frame and panels.

Masonite interior doors can now be hung using their Surface Mounted Hardware System. Featuring a tubular aluminum track and ball bearing rollers, the track accommodates 1- to 3/8-in. single and double doors weighing up to 300 pounds. The system fits openings of 48-, 60-, 72- or 96-in. and can be trimmed to fit smaller openings. The system includes an I-beam track, adjustable rollers, brackets, track stops, door guides and assembly tools.
