Impact Glass

Hurd Impact Glass is laminated to look like ordinary glass, but it offers additional safety and security needed to guard against hazardous storms. The laminated glass is produced by bonding a special polyvinyl butyral layer between two panes of glass to create a single sheet of durable impact glass. Upon impact, the fragments tend to adhere to the bonded plastic vinyl layer, reducing the risk of injury or damage to the window.
