Cultured Stone, a division of Owens Corning, has developed an interactive program to help users design the fireplace of their dreams. Fireplace Design Solutions is a powerful CD-ROM-based tool that allows users to design and visualize a new or remodeled fireplace. The program leads users through a design process that encompasses virtually every fireplace design element, including surrounds, ceiling heights, hearth configurations and mantle designs, and provides users with photo-realistic images of the fireplace they created.
