Stud and Joist Drill

DeWalt’s 1/2-in. stud and joist drill (DWD460) is designed to drill large holes in wood using ship auger bits, hole saws and self-feed bits. The drill is equipped with a Bind-Up Control feature that senses a stall during use and adjusts the motor torque to a manageable level. The drill also has a mechanical, torque-limiting clutch that is active when low speed is selected.
