EcoStar announces the addition of 10-in. Majestic Slate Traditional tiles to its line of recycled, synthetic roofing products. A narrower version of EcoStar’s existing 12-in. tiles, these 10-in. tiles are intended to more closely replicate the look of standard slate tiles, which are traditionally manufactured in both 10- and 12-inch widths. The tile is made of post-industrial recycled rubber and plastics.

Onduvilla shingles from Ondura are made from recycled fibers and infused with bitumen (asphalt), resulting in a durable and lightweight roofing system. Each shingle also has a three-tone color finish, which gives them the raised appearance of traditional Mediterranean roofs. Onduvilla’s light and flexible design makes it fit seamlessly with all standard roof structures. The shingles are made from more than 50-percent post-consumer recycled fiber (ISO-14021) and use natural pigments for coloration. Five colors are available: Tuscany red, spruce green, Florentino terra cotta, siena brown and oxidian black. Weight per square is approximately 90 lbs.
