Dryvit Outsulation Systems combine continuous insulation (CI), air and water barrier and design-flexible aesthetics in a single exterior wall system. Versi-Tite Window and Door sealant from RHH Foam Systems Inc. is a one-component polyurethane foam used to seal small gaps and crevices. It dispenses from the can in a 3/8-in. caulking bead. The moisture-cured product should not be used to fill voids larger than 1 in. Packaging options include 12 oz. straw foam, 24 oz. straw or gun foam and 16-lb. tanks.
Propex Operating Co. LLC has debuted NapaWrap Coastal housewrap for areas prone to moisture, UV rays and high winds. The wrap can remain uncovered for up to one year without tearing or suffering UV damage. It allows moisture vapor from inside to escape through the wall exterior without letting moisture back in. The lightweight wrap is tan-colored and is available in five roll sizes.
