Hardwood Deck Screw

Simpson Strong-Tie introduces its newest collated fastener, the DHPD hardwood deck screw. It's specifically designed for hardwood decking, such as fastening Ipê to pressure-treated joists, and the DHPD deck screw's paddle-style drill point eliminates the need to pre-drill holes. The screw's paddle-style drill point not only allows users to skip the pre-drill step, but it greatly reduces the chance of splitting the hardwood.
