Permeable interlocking concrete pavers Product From Oldcastle Architectural Product Group: Belgard’s Environmental Collection features permeable interlocking concrete pavers (PICP) that reduce pollution from rainwater runoff and provide storm water management solutions. EPA recognized the PICP system as one of the preferred methods for storm water management and one of the few management systems able to handle heavy vehicular loads for both residential and commercial applications. Belgard’s permeable pavers perform at five times 100-year storm standards, manage twice as much water as a retention pond, and qualify for a number of LEEDcredits in commercial construction.

AZEK Pavers Product From AZEK Building Products: Manufactured with up to 95 percent recycled content from reclaimed tires and some added plastics, AZEK Pavers are stain-, impact- and scratch-resistant. With a grid system and at less than half the weight of traditional pavers, AZEK Pavers install up to three times faster than other pavers, according to the manufacturer. They can be cut using a regular miter or jigsaw without the need for masonry wet saws and are available in five colors and three profiles: Standard Landscape, Permeable and Resurfacing Pavers.

Clay Pavers Product From Pine Hall Brick Company, Inc.: Pine Hall Brick’s CityCobble clay pavers, when installed in an I or modified herringbone pattern, give a random cobble look reminiscent of ancient walkways laid in stone. The pavers promise consistent sizes, making installation easier. They are fired longer and hotter, according to the manufacturer, and have an effective compressive strength of 13,000 psi, which is more than concrete. The pavers, available in mahogany and siesta colors, are the same color all the way through.

KILZ Pro-X PVA Drywall Primer and KILZ Pro-X p50 Block Filler Product From Masterchem Industries: Masterchem Industries has released KILZ Pro-X PVA Drywall Primer and KILZ Pro-X p50 Block Filler. The drywall latex primer evens out porosity on new, uncoated drywall. It is formulated to prime and seal the drywall to reduce the number of topcoats required to achieve a uniform professional quality finish. The block filler is designed for above-grade use on concrete block, cinder block, and poured or precast concrete. It is an economical interior/exterior latex primer formulated to fill and seal porous masonry surfaces, reduce pinholing and help produce a smooth topcoat for a uniform, professional quality finish.

Green Sense Concrete Product From BASF: BASF has released its Green Sense Concrete, an environmentally friendly, cost-effective concrete that features quick truck discharge and setting time, slump retention and strength performance. No water is needed at a jobsite to create the highly flowable slump concrete. The mix has less cement, which means less carbon dioxide is created, less energy is used per unit of concrete produced and less byproduct materials are targeted for landfill.

Bricks and Pavers Product From CalStar Products: CalStar Products uses a unique production process to make bricks and pavers. The products contain 40 percent postindustrial content (fly ash), require 85 percent less energy and generate 85 percent less carbon dioxide during manufacture. The bricks and pavers meet or exceed the standards of equivalent masonry products; for example, the Holland paver meets the ASTM C-902 performance standard.
