Parex USA Inc. has released WeatherSeal BG, a neoprene waterproofing membrane for below-grade horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces. The single-component membrane can be troweled, rolled, brushed or spray-applied. WeatherSeal BG allows low levels of moisture vapor to escape, preventing delamination of the applied membrane while prohibiting external moisture from infiltrating through foundation walls.

The system has low shrinkage with high-elastic recovery that resists pinholes or cracks. Mineral spirits or citrus-based cleaners can be used for clean up.
