WalzCraft has added three SolidTone colors to its line of finish options for custom cabinet components. The new SolidTone pain hues include gray tones ranging from light to dark and are made of pigmented, acid Catalyzed Conversion Varnishes that provide scratch and chemical resistance. Danver Stainless Steel Cabinetry developed three cabinetry finishes for outdoor kitchens. The painted finish combines the stainless construction with the ability to carry a particular color scheme. The clear Protect-A-Coat finish provides protection against chlorine and corrosive chemicals for kitchens near pool areas and salt water. The powder coated wood finish seals the stainless construction while setting the base color from ten different wood options.

The multi-step process for both the stain and clear finish are completed before the windows or doors is assembled. The waterborne acrylic enamel used on the products is environmentally friendly. The six stain options to choose from are honey, wheat, hazelnut, cabernet, espresso and leather. The stain and clear finishes are available on pine, white oak, cherry, Douglas fir, cedro macho, mahogany and vertical grain Douglas fir.

This exterior finishing system is permeable, and the finish can be applied directly to the panels over wood or metal studs, using a trowel, knife or freestyle for a variety of textures. CarraFinishes comes with a five-year limited warranty, while the panel substrate comes with a five-year labor and replacement feature as well as 50-year prorated limited warranty.
Sherwin-Williams has introduced the Dry Erase 2K Waterborne Clear Gloss. It is applied by a professional paint contractor to any interior substrate and over any paint color to produce a durable, clear gloss finish that wipes clean after each use and has no ghosting effects. It also has reduced odor compared to other dry erase coatings.
Sherwin-Williams introduces Sher-Wood F3 Hi-Bild PreCat Lacquer, a traditional catalyzed lacquer that provides formaldehyde-free finishing. The finish contains no formaldehyde or ingredients that emit formaldehyde, but offers the overall look, feel and application benefits of a catalyzed lacquer, according to the company. A self-sealing product, it is compatible with the full range of Sher-Wood stains and glazes.

Kelly-Moore’s 1545 Enviro Coat Reflective is an exterior 100 percent acrylic low-sheen paint that, when applied to vertical outside walls, reflects a portion of the radiant heat from the sun away from the building. This infrared-reflective technology employs unique pigments in the paint that will not allow as much infrared radiant heat to absorb into the film and wall, even when using medium and darker colors. By reflecting some of the radiant heat away from the outside wall, less heat-transfer occurs to the inside wall, which can result in less cycling of the air-conditioning unit and energy savings.
