Strong-Drive SDW screws

Simpson Strong-Tie has launched a series of structural wood screws--Strong-Drive SDW screws--for fastening multi-ply truss and engineered-wood assemblies. The screws install from one side, firmly clinching plies together while eliminating the need to flip heavy girders. The thread design allows two-, three- and four-ply trusses or 1 3/4-inch lumber to be fastened from one side.
