HydroGap Drainable Housewrap

Benjamin Obdyke has introduced HydroGap Drainable Housewrap, which quickly drains moisture and bulk water from wall assemblies, meaning less potential for mold and moisture damage. The housewrap comprises a tri-laminate substrate with the moisture barrier protected between two non-woven layers, which strengthens the product. The patent-pending spacer design on the housewrap surface creates a 1-millimeter gap between the structure’s sheathing and cladding materials, allowing the housewrap to be installed in any direction while maintaining drainage capabilities.
