Deck planks 1 x 6 inches (1 x 5.5 inches actual dimensions) and are embossed with a realistic wood grain finish on both sides, making them fully reversible.  Building professionals can order the solid decking boards with or without grooves to accommodate hidden fastening systems.  Colors include:  seasoned mahogany, rustic cedar, Cape Cod gray, earthtone, terracotta and desert sand, as well as two new colors: walnut and tigerwood

Trex looks to appeal to the DIY consumer with their Trex Select decking and railing system. The composite decking resists stain and mold, requires no sanding, staining or painting and features a square-edge profile for simple installation. Deck boards are available in 12-, 16- and 20-ft lengths with four colors, Madeira, Winchester grey, saddle and woodland brown, to choose from. The railing is manufactured of a shelled composite material, available in a white hue and uses a code-compliant external bracket system for installation.
